Man...SHUT THE FUCK UP!
The controversy began after several women began noticing that photographs of themselves nursing their children had been flagged for removal. They formed a group called “Hey Facebook, Breastfeeding Is Not Obscene!” to protest a policy that prohibits members from uploading any content deemed to be “obscene, pornographic or sexually explicit,” which can include images showing exposed breasts.
Stephanie Knapp Muir, 40, one of the organizers of the Facebook group, said the company’s policy was unfair and discriminatory towards women. “If they were removing all photos of any exposed chest — male or female — in any context, at least that would be fair,” Ms. Muir said. “But they’re targeting women with these rules. They’ve deemed women’s breasts obscene and dangerous for children and it’s preposterous.”I just watched the CNN news vid on this. Some of the pictures displayed showed these frumpy, plain, and in some instances, ugly women. Some of the women looked proud displaying their breasts...and children. There was this one photo of a child looking straight into the camera, sucking a big breast, and the nipple fogged out. These women are actually exploiting their kids to further their cause which I think is a bigger crime. There's a big difference between artistic images and pornographic images...some of them looked pornographic. Don't they think that some pervs are getting off on this? Some who could very well be on their friends list? This woman, Muir, has to one of the biggest idiots on the planet and has set the role of women back 50 years.
I fully support Facebook's decision.
The Black Artists Association is chiding FLOTUS for not choosing any African-American designers.
I don't know who FLOTUS is. I guess they decide what The First Lady will be wearing. Just because there are black people in the White House, doesn't mean everything has to be black. SHUT THE FUCK UP! Next they'll be complaining that there's no black eyed peas, collard greens, and fried chicken being served at those White House dinners.
I am glad they went with an Asian designers. WE'RE the ones who are at the back of the bus now.

Jan. 20 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks sank, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average to its worst Inauguration Day decline, as speculation banks must raise more capital sent financial shares to an almost 14-year low.
Is this Obama's fault? How about NO! This is just part of the downward spiral that bushy and his greedy pals have started. Did anyone stop to think that no one was buying or selling because the whole world was watching the inauguration?
Why not go after the really greedy people like madoff? He probably has millions stashed away in some Swiss Bank account or in the Cayman Islands. Someone smart enough to swindle people out of their money always has a back-up plan. Anyone else who did this would be in jail, but not him. Who is he paying off?

The country is in the middle of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, which isn't stopping rich donors and the government from spending $170 million, or more, on the inauguration of Barack Obama.
Again, let’s just do some low budget inauguration for this historical event. Let’s forget about the fact that the Bush administration is to blame for our economic woes. I don’t hear anyone complaining except for some right wing journalists who voted for McCain and Failin.

I think this should be Obama's theme song. I especially like the part where she sings, "I'll be burning rubber you'll be kissing my ass," because that's what the republicans will be doing.
I've been using lowercase letters for some proper nouns because the groups they describe are sooooo much smaller now in intelligence and status.

Despite the bleak economy, however, Democrats who called on President George W. Bush to be frugal four years ago are issuing no such demands now that an inaugural weekend of rock concerts and star-studded parties has begun.
Man, people are trippin. Should we give this man less just because of what the Bush administration has done to the nation's economy? This is a time to celebrate! I don't think any of the right wing, arayan, redneck, toothless, backward, inbreed, yokals could see this coming. If we spend less, this means Obama is not worthy. I was looking at arayan website and it's so full of hate. How sad that is. I think they should just charge this bill to Bush and Cheney...they've made so much money off the working class. They owe it to us.

Battle over pictures of nursing infants draws thousands of like-minded moms, dizzying media attention

Man, these breast feeding moms are really perverted pimps. They flash their breasts and children feeding off of them anywhere and anytime. It's as if they get some sick nymphomaniac pleasure at what they are doing. Maybe it's the only pleasure they can get....hhhhmmmmm.
Mothers who object to Facebook's handling of their personal pictures say they are most offended by the idea that their photo of a nursing newborn might be labeled "obscene" in the same way an image of a topless partyer would be.
Why put these pictures up any way? Is it fair to the child? I think these moms are just so jealous that they can't put any sexy topless partying pictures, so by doing this, they hide behind the shroud of "it's natural." Thank God there are normal decent moms out there that believe that breast feeding is natural, but should be something done in private.
"I totally support a woman's right to post pictures of nursing on Facebook, but why would you want to?" one Facebook member wrote earlier this week on the forum's bulletin board, which as of Thursday afternoon had drawn 20,000 comments. "Couldn't you find a better picture to use with less controversy?"
Another guest said judging whether a picture is sexual in nature is a subjective process, and concluded, "This group is just trying to say that they should be able to show their boobs on Facebook."
Kelli Roman is really a bored housewife who needed some attention because she's suffering from post-partum depression.
But Roman said she feels that seeing pictures of breast-feeding is not detrimental to kids, as opposed to viewing nudity that is sexual in nature.
"Children need to see women breast-feeding," she said. "They need to see that breasts aren't for sex or to sell you things ---- especially the boys ---- but they're for nurturing and feeding your children."
Well, why doesn't she go after companies that use sex to sell things? Boys will understand, if they are taught not to objectify certain body parts. It comes from good parenting.
Fellow Fallbrook resident Anna Alcorn, 37, who has joined the Facebook breast-feeding movement, said that she had trouble finding advice on nursing when she had her first child, who is now 2 years old.
"If this were something that was more common, I would have felt a lot more confident," said Alcorn. "It's frustrating that I've had no public role models whatsoever."
No role models? She had trouble finding advice? Open a fucking book you stupid bitch! She was 35 and couldn't find information? What moron impregnated her? This will also open the door to the moms who still breast feed their children who are older than 3, and they too will hide behind this, "it's natural and needs to be more common."
